Appears to be exactly like the original part
My Oreck Magnesium vacuum cleaner handle broke inside the bag, which was okay for a while until the bag began to separate from the screws that hold the handle on—and debris was leaking out of the bag. I was heartbroken because I love this lightweight vacuum and did not want to give it up—or spend $600 on its newer version, Discover.I found it easy to install until I had to find a way to feed the wire through a hole smaller than the connector on the wire. So I took it to my local vacuum shop and, for a small fee, they completed the job for me. This part appears to be identical to the original part.It saved my vacuum cleaner, so I’m very happy.

Good replacement part.
I have two of these vacuums so the availability of this part probably saved me at least a $100 in labor charges at the repair store. Plus I’m sure they would have sold me the parts at a higher price as well. I will say that this is not a simple, straightforward repair. There is a lot of disassembling that has to happen and some of it is a bit tricky. You have to push the four rubber covers on the handle up an out of the way and then there are two little buttons, one on each side that have to be pushed in order to release the handle. If you can spend a little time on this and you are good with tools it’s a very satisfying repair.

Factory Quality, great pricing, use care when attaching the necessary bag dock
This Upper bag bracket unit fits my Oreck Magnesium LW100 vacuum perfectly. I from everything I can tell, it is a factory OEM replacment . I needed to watch an online video to install it, as it’s rather challenging if you don’t.The seller if excellent, as the pricing is fantastic and they shipped out the exact fit product. But from my experence , I think the factory design is flawed as when I installed the blue plastic bag dock on it, the left side of the bracket broke quickly and without warning. Even though I watched an installation video on it. the Vacuum that I bought also already had a broken bracket in the same place. In the end price was great, shipping as expected and it works well after I repaired it with JB Quick epoxy.

Great part for my Oreck Magnesium vacuum
Fit was perfect for my Oreck Magnesium vacuum. It’s old but I love its lightweight design and it cost me an arm and a leg brand new. So if it can be fixed I get it fixed. The new vacuum I bought was a BEAR to use. Hard to maneuver, very heavy. So if it can be fixed thats tge way to go.

Worked perfectly to fix the broken one from my Oreck Magnesium. I’ve had this vacuum for 15+ years and it’s so much better than any replacement I have tried (even the expensive ones) so I’m really glad to be able to purchase these replacement parts.
