Works for Shop-Vac Blue Gray 16 gal. I was worried to order this because someone wrote a review and said no threads…Incorrect…it has threads enough to hold even after filling the holding tank on the Shop-VAC 16gal. Works good!

Fit an Alton brand 16 gallon Wet/Dry Shop vac perfectly! I looked at Lowes, HOme Depot, Walmart & Ace and they all did not have a replacement drain cap-the store representative all said “drain caps all measure specific to brand” Grateful for this generic one. Saved us from buying a new one.

Drain cap was dropped down a drain and Dayton had discontinued the pump and dump. They stated no parts were available. Ordered this cap and it worked perfectly.

Saw the price and thought “good lord”. I forget it’s not 1995 sometimes. I’m a real treat at a grocery store.Then it arrived. And I screwed it on. WORTH EVERY PENNY.Might be better than the original (RIP wherever in the city sewer system your travels dragged you) honestly.I learned parts are running shorter since the company folded/is folding.Shame , the Shop-Vac is a standard imo. A lot of American jobs gone. And yet cheap junk knock offs will be around forever to endlessly disappoint as we all whisper “boy I miss my Shop-Vac”. SMH.
