Swear by Miele, but after 14 years, the old carpet tool broke. This was a great place and decent price for this on Amazon. The product was OEM in original box as I like! Thanks Amazon. BTW – We are Miele fans and were happy with how long this tool lasted. The Miele Vac is still going strong.
Prepossessing Truth –
I own the original Miele QuickStwp s194. I love it and never upgraded anything on it. I also own the white Car and Dog Upright, have lots of attachments that I bought separately. Hands down this brand of the vacuum is the best and nothing compares. I moved from hardwood primarily to now mostly carpet, and only had access to my red stick vacuum. I ordered this and now I have a mini version of the upright. It cleans perfectly, and I am stunned and impressed at how well this thing still works after so many years. Also, the attachment will work with newer model quick steps if I ever replace it. I’d you need a vacuum for an apartment, I recommend the quick step + this turbo attachment so you have the best vacuum for both hard floors, handheld jobs, and vacuuming carpet with good suction and power.

We don’t have much carpet, but we’ve found this brush to do an excellent job keeping up with the fur from three cats and litter tracked out of their boxes. It’s easy to maneuver around furniture and the adjustable height is invaluable.I ordered this one because ours abruptly stopped working in mid-vacuum. After disassembling the brush I found two switches, one a shut-off for when the wand is raised, the other (four-way switch) for preventing operation until the top cover is in place. The cover has a tab which activates the switch. I cycled the switch a couple of times and the brush started operating normally. If it happens again I’ll squirt some plastic-OK contact cleaner into the switch. The brush is easy to take apart and put back together, so it was a quick fix.Of course, now that we have a spare the original will last forever…

This is my second SEB-236 after my first met a bad fate after a mishap with a flight of stairs. :-)Miele has improved this unit over the last version, replacing the old model’s fluorescent headlight with LEDs that work as well.The unit does a great job on carpets of all depths, and I can’t imagine trying to vacuum without it. The depth setting work really well, and it’s nice that setting the wand to full upright shuts the Powerbrush off.One thing to note – they changed indicator LEDs on the top of the unit, so the manual states the operation LED will either be red, to indicate a jam, or green to indicate normal operation.Instead, the LED is either red (to indicate a jam) or AMBER if operation is normal.Overall, a great purchase, and this time more caution will be used near stairs. 😉

I needed a replacement Electrobrush for my Miele canister cleaner. The old one still worked, but would not adjust in height any longer and no longer locked into upright position. This fit my old vacuum cleaner perfectly.
