    One year Review.

Used for hard commercial use, house cleaning. This is more pointing at what has worn at a year so you can make a more informed decision.Cons: It did over heat once. Scared me but the next day it did turn on again. The automatic brush height adjustment is a little annoying but you get use to it, takes a learning curve when transitioning from flat to deep carpet. It has started squeeking lately needs maintenance maybe on the wheels. The handle latch is always loose and I have a habit of checking it many times during the day so it does not disconnect when lifting the vacuum. When cleaning the brush, at first the bristles came out but only pulled out 3. Cord at connection point to vac has a flexible cover that has split and dangles now. The orange foot latch comes out once and a while and can be a pain to reinstall but it is possible (same for the older models).Pros: this is a great vac. I took a chance on this newer model and it has worked out just as I hoped. I baby this thing and after a year it does feel like I need this to go into the shop and have a small bit of maintenance done. But I use it hard and it has stood strong. I recommend this vacuum. Hose holds up and attachments. Easy to clean, keep clean, change bags, filters, clear clogs. Can lay flat on ground with out lifting. Cord is long.Edit: 2 year reviewI have encountered a problem with the automatic adjuster. First it was just stuck at the same height, then I took my time and took it apart and cleaned it very good. Then the automatic adjustment wheel just spins endlessly like the sensor is broken and just goes up and down. Really annoying when vacuuming flat floors because it lifts so high off the ground it does not pick up anything and you have to wait for it to cycle back down to continue. I read into this more and the auto motor or sensor seems to fault at sometime. If I was to do this all over again I would buy the manual one because I hate dealing with technology like this. But on the bright side Sevo has a 10 year warranty on motors and I can get it fixed for free. Will report back on how that goes when I do that. Although I have this issue which could be my fault I am not alone when I research it but it still vacuums and I’m still using it.

    Worth the cost.

Great vacuum! I have another sebo thats last over 20 years. I bought this one so we didnt have to keep carrying it up and down stairs.Definitely worth the high price tag.

    Absolutely not worth the money

For a thousand dollars? Absolutely not worth it. Pros: Maneuvers beautifully, flattens to easily go under furniture most vacuums can’t, long cord. Cons: Does not transition well between hard floors, thin rugs and shag carpets, constantly shutting off due to risk of overheating because the pile is too high for this vacuum (never had this issue with this rug with my last vacuum) Short hose on the hand wand and tips over very easily while using the hand wand, and the suction is not strong. Placement of the on/off switch is too near where you hold the vacuum so you’re constantly accidentally turning it off. Does not get rid of pet hair nearly as well as my old Dyson vacuum cleaners. Overall a huge disappointment, I miss my Dyson and I regret this purchase.

No I’m not talking about a vehicle, it’s a vacuum and probably the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s sleek and oh so quiet. Yes it has bags (two in fact) but I never got used to a bag less vacuum. I have 4 dogs so I usually vacuum daily sometimes more! I like the tool storage because they’re almost built in and out of sight. Oh boy does this thing pick up hair, dirt and dust! I really like the filtration because there isn’t any smell or dust coming out of the vacuum. Yes it’s expensive but it just might be worth it!

    Best Vacuum Cleaner

I have purchased many other brand vacuums in the past e.g., Bissell, Eureka, Oreck, but this is hands down the best thus far. I really like the fact that it automatically adjusts to the height of the cleaning surface making it less arduous to vacuum and also automatically stops if there is an obstruction on the floor. Also, it’s very quiet compared to other vacuum cleaners that I’ve used and the materials used to make to product appear to be better than the flimsy made vacuums currently on the market. The only con is that the cord is not retractable. Other than that, I am very happy with the vacuum. Money well spent.

    Great powerful vacuum but…

This is my favorite vacuum given how powerful it is and the great job it performs. However less than a year old, it’s broken twice now, first the cord, then the engine or electric. Currently in a shop for repair. It does come with a 10-year warranty so that’s good.

Super cleaning, very reliable – “Mercedes” of vacuums

All you need to know is I purchased this model back in 2001 (or the equivalent) and it has never given me any problems. Very reliable and never a broken belt or anything. I have had it over 20 years now and it was worth the extra price because I was purchasing a new vacuum every year. Order bags and filters online. Adjusts to high/low carpet or hardwood floors. Wouldn’t purchase anything else and thinking of buying another because I have a bonus room now and I would like one on both floors. I have read some of the low ratings and most of them are due to the user not knowing how to use the machine. What upright vacuum works on throw rugs and still has good suction? It deserves 5 stars and I am a 20 “same machine” reviewer.

    One of the best vacuums

For me personally, it is the best vacuum cleaner. As owner of vacuums that last 2-3 years, let me tell you that this vacuum will last 10-20 years. It is so reliable that it is used in places such as Buckingham palace. Great durability, reliability, and value. I educated myself about vacuums and also cost of bags, HEPA filters. Sebo vacuum bags cost as much as Hoover bags. Attachment on this vacuum works really well. Sebo has a lot of authorized dealers that will help you and advice you if needed. Hepa filter on average needs change about once a year. Stay away from Dyson […] Get vacuum that really sucks–dust! My carpet looks brand new. It lifted the pile and it just look different. Love vacuuming and I am not clean freak.
